We are GoGreen Pioneers!
It is an honor and a milestone for us at MEKRA Lang Group to be recognized as one of the twelve GoGreen Pioneers at IFAT Munich 2024. In the midst of almost 3,000 exhibitors, we have managed to stand out for our tireless commitment to sustainability and innovative trade fair construction concepts.
Our journey to sustainability
Sustainability is not a new concept for us and our subsidiary company MEKRAtronics; it is a fundamental value that is deeply embedded in our company philosophy. We think in terms of generations, not quarterly figures. This long-term thinking has already inspired us to completely rethink and redesign our trade fair presence for all trade fairs in 2022.
From the use of FSC-certified laminate flooring to modular wall systems and the use of 100% recycled PET bottles for our stand walls, we have carefully considered every aspect of our stand. Our decision to use rental furniture and LED long arm spotlights underlines our commitment to minimizing our environmental footprint.
Innovation in exhibition stand construction
A particular highlight of our sustainable trade fair concept are the product steles, which enable flexible presentation of our products without the need to produce new materials for each trade fair. These steles are not only an eye-catcher at our trade fairs, but are also used for product presentation at our company headquarters.
Partnerships that count
Our long-standing partnership with our stand builder, which is based on shared values of sustainability and responsibility, has enabled us to realize a minimalist but effective concept. We also attach great importance to regionality when it comes to catering in order to further reduce our CO2 footprint.
A role model for the industry
By being selected as a GoGreen Pioneer at IFAT Munich, we want to set an example: Sustainable exhibition stand construction is not just an option, but a necessity for the future of our industry.
