Supplier Days 2023 at MEKRA Lang

Around 50 suppliers from 28 companies were guests at MEKRA Lang in Ergersheim on October 5 and 6, 2023. The event provided an excellent opportunity for intensive discussions and the exchange of information between suppliers and MEKRA Lang employees.

The event kicked off with a social get-together on the golf course in Bad Windsheim. A fun golf tournament was held there and there was an opportunity to try out trial golfing. Alternatively, some guests made an excursion to the Franconian Open Air Museum in Bad Windsheim. The evening ended with an exciting mystery dinner at the Vital Hotel, which guests and employees alike will remember fondly for a long time to come.

The second day was dedicated to professional exchange and began with a warm welcome and a presentation by the management, Susanne and Dr. Werner Lang. They gave an insight into the changes in the company since 2019 and the current status in 2023. Further interesting presentations about different departments in the company followed and were complemented by an exhibition of the different company divisions, including a ride in the Vision Truck, which was very well received by the guests. The highlight of the day was the awards ceremony, where two outstanding suppliers were honored. INEOS Styrolution Europe GmbH was named "Supplier of the Year 2023" in the production materials category, while DRT Group received the title of "Supplier of the Year 2023" for equipment/indirect requirements.

The supplier days ended with a joint lunch in the company's own canteen, where the participants could further exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.
